“We loved the location, and overall had a very comfortable experience. We woke up the first day and the heater was not working, and the local support had the issue fixed within an hour. Only complaint was that the online listing said that there was a bed and pullout in room 2, as well as the living room pullout. Unfortunately the only pullout was in the living room, which made it a little uncomfortable trying to put a kid to bed when parents are still awake and no way to fully block out the light……

The family that owns this place is so sweet and caring. I highly recommend this for those looking to sleep in a log house and see a bit of history on the walls. “From the moment we booked the host was available and answered questions. The home is clean, beautiful and you can not beat the amazing view. Our family really enjoyed our time. There is a three bear grocery store, burger resturant and coffee shed, very close by. Hatchers Pass was a close as well. We have nothing but fond memories of our time shared at the Chalet, so grateful!”
