“A really nice B&B ! The Lounge area/Dining room and Fireplace are beautiful. Hannah made an awesome breakfast assortment in the morning. The bed/firmness of our mattress was a little soft, and the foot traffic from the room above us was excessive due to a late night check-in. I would suggest placing a sign right on the 2nd floor beds about not wearing shoes that affect people below. Otherwise, great location and good value.”

“Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. “This could not have been a more wonderful stay. The manor house is beautiful as are the grounds. The deck overlooks the lake with a lovely path that leads to a dock. Breakfast on the deck was simply joyful. The rooms are well appointed and very clean and tidy. Breakfast was home cooked with fresh and local ingredients. Bring a bottle of wine with you for an evening taking in the fresh air and lake views. The owners are lovely and have thought of everything their guests will need. This is a must……

“Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again.”

“My family of 4 (plus our pup) stayed here for a Stowe ski trip. We would definitely return. The place is immaculately clean and fresh (clean, white duvet covers on the beds, fluffy white towels, etc.) and stocked with all basics for your stay (hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, shampoo, etc.).
