“I loved the privacy of the place! It's very close to the marina and we enjoyed their lobster dinner and live music. Weather was great that day! My husband fished off the pier and got so many fish of all different kinds. Pulled up 3 lb bass and 4 lb pike and I got a bowfin! We drove to Hero's Welcome every morning for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Their lunch sandwiches were the best meal we had the whole trip! Just a lovely little town. So, basically we loved it. “Upon arrival the view of the lake is breathtaking then upon entering the cottage, you knew everything had its place. The cottage was clean, organized, beautifully yet minimally decorated where we felt at home in this space. We loved the access to the lake to fish, use the onsite items (kayaks/paddle boards) but our dog swam almost every day. The owners recommendations on places to eat and things to see were spot on-though must say the black flies at the wildlife refuge were awful. We highly……
