“On the listing it said this room would sleep 6, but it really only sleeps 2. I spoke with the property manager and he said he would lay down a mattress (there were 4 of us) and when we got there they refused to do that. We were forced to book a 2nd room. ”

“We arrived in taxi and the sign on the door of building we were told apartment was in has a sign posted by NY city building department that the building was UNSAFE ! It was locked! We definitely had the right address from listing BUT the actual apartment was 2 blocks away! My grandson panicked because he thought I’d been scammed ! After frantic call to listing person, got a return call with new address and PIN to access. Not sure why they provide a fake address? Short term stay legality?……

“Great location, great location! We were able to walk to Times Square within minutes and see Madison Square Garden lights and building from the window. Great size apartment that was able to fit a family of eight comfortably, with two bathrooms is a bonus. Our host was very responsive in a timely manner.”

“The apartment was cute and clean. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. Communication with the host was great. It's a three floor walk-up in a safe neighborhood. It is great if you aren't driving.The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is the parking situation. There really isn't anywhere to park. Everything in West New York, NJ is by permit, so you have to plan ahead. The host provided us with some options, but we got into town very late after driving from Michigan. The parking……

“My wife and her friend rented this place for a long weekend to visit some friends in NYC- the apartment was really nice and comfortable and located close to a lot of places or to public transport - the amenities were mostly great - would loved to have had more hand-towels and also basic kitchen items like salt and pepper! Our host was super communicative prior to our arrival and provided a wonderful explanation on how to access the property, providing a text and video explanation. This was great because we arrived late in the evening, and we were able to quickly gain access to the unit.Upon arrival we found the apartment as described and clean.
