“In Maine visiting UMaine Orono. Property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. House had plenty of room, 2nd floor bed was comfortable. Close to campus, restaurants, and the view of the lake was lovely. Some aesthetic aspects of the home appeared unfinished/in progress, but this did not negatively affect our stay. Thank you!!”

“We used the cabin as a home base to explore Acadia while having a fun and beautiful place to come back and see the sunsets and sunrises on the water. The little heater was enough to keep us warm during the chilly fall week we were there. Was a great spot for the two of us!”

“Freundliche, familiäre, gemütliche Ferienwohnung am Südrand von Ellsworth, trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Walmart, Hannaford) in wenigen Minuten mit Auto erreichbar. Bis zum Acadia NP etwa 15 Minuten. Wohnung ist mit allem (außer Spülmaschine) ausgestattet, Waschmöglichkeit im Erdgeschoß (Garage). Trotz herbstlicher Kühle am Abend haben wir den Gasgrill gerne und viel genutzt. James ist ein überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. ”

“Loved our stay at Cabin Beaver! Cannot say enough good things about our stay. We went into the week expecting a great time but this place exceeded all of our expectations. Cabin is very well kept and well stocked with all the essentials. Loved our evening and morning sits over looking the lake listening to the loons and watching the bald eagles. Would highly recommend staying here!”

“We loved staying here at this cozy waterfront property. It was spacious and with a functional kitchen which was a plus! The location, although a bit away from Acadia, offered an escape from the busy-ness of Bar Harbor. The surroundings are serene with a lake just upfront. Overall a good experience. Just be prepared to check out on the dot at 10.00AM to make way for the cleaners.”

“House size and view were fantastic. It was isolated but yet still not far to restaurants or grocery. Only 30 min from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Downside was that it was not very clean and there was no hand towels in bathrooms to use. We also had to find a closet with towels and one of the beds was not made. So we had to find sheets and make ourselves. Finally it was listed there was a futon when really there was only a futon mattress so one of us slept on a floor on a very old futon mattress. I……
