“The photos do not do this property justice! The property and cabin are beautiful and tranquil. Only 30 minutes to Acadia National Park. Very easy to tour all of Mount Desert Island from the cabin. 10 mintes to a couple of grocery stores. When we first turned onto the dirt/gravel road and the GPS still showed 1 mile to go we were a bit apprehensive but we went to the end of the road and turned into the drive and were met with a stunning view of the cabin, cove and river. “We had a great time in this off grid cabin. It was a beautiful location in a really lovely wood cottage. Our favorite part was just relaxing on the screened in porch listening to the loons in the evening. It got a little hot during our stay, so the limited electricity for a fan was a bummer but not a dealbreaker by any means. Would definitely recommend. ”
