“ Nothing fancy, but it did the job. There were a few bugs (nothing crazy) and the walls were very thin, but the room was basically clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and I got to check in early at no extra charge. The price is great though: would recommend for the mid-picky traveler who wants to avoid the SF hostels. ”

“I stay here every year when I visit SF. Great value!”

“I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable. Shower was hot with good water pressure. I felt safe. It was loud but not unbearable. A car horn and siren woke me up. The windows are right by the street. No real complaints. The stairs kinda shocked us. To afraid to ride the old school elevator. Would stay again my husband wouldn’t. ”

“Super cute, comfortable home with plenty of space for our family of 5 and golden lab. Right along water and lots of amenities. Would stay again. ”

“Overall a positive stay. East access, clean and comfortable beds. Improvements can be made in the back garden, I'm sure his neighbors don't appreciate him much. I was looking forward to a backyard BBQ but the whole back garden is overgrown. I was sort of expecting a washer, if not a drier, but wasn't to be. “Comfy to hang out indoors and outdoors. Easy to cook and eat there. Comfy beds and lots of bathroom amenities. Loved the battery candles and tea when we arrived. The heater was difficult to start and could not start the last two days. Otherwise we would recommend and stay there again! Thank you!”

“Great stay, easy check in and great service with host”

“Nice place in a great area, 8 of us stayed there for work in S. San Francisco, parking was easy. Would definitely stay again. Place was clean, showers all worked good, hot water was great. Played some games, went to San Francisco easy 20 minutes drive, all around and awesome deal!!! ”

“The ad is correct, it is quiet and serene. Located conveniently near Muir Woods, Golden Gate, Bridge, and downtown San Francisco. Quiet evenings outside on the back deck are very nice, lots of wildlife, a local grey longhair cat, and a family of deer visit every night and meander through unalarmec only 20 feet away. Very cool. ”
