“This boutique hotel is on the outer rim of the old town. The rooms were spacious and clean and the the bathroom was the same. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was delicious.
My breakfast was included and was delicious combination of fresh fruit, breads and made to order eggs. Had dinner and this also was delicious.
The Old Town is very hilly, with cobblestones - so best to wear sturdy shoes on walks. My ch to see around town - 2 days was a good amount of time to……

“The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was excellent. A small fridge was provided me upon request. Filtered water was readily available for the guests to keep in their rooms. The facility was beautifully and meaningfully decorated reflecting Ecuadorian culture.
I don't think Expedia should advertise them as having a restaurant. It's misleading,especially if the person who books really wants to have access to a restaurant in their hotel.

“We had an amazing time in Quito staying at the hotel. Lovely building with interesting furniture and art. Bedroom was comfortable and extremely clean. Lovely bed, excellent views . Shower was hot and hotel provided us with a heater when it got chilly. David the manager and he's partner pierrina are very helpful. We were met at the airport by pierrina, the transfer was easy. Quito itself was wonderful, so much to see and the architecture is devine. It's lovely to walk around the old town . Rosa……
“The location is good and near to the attraction points. The front desk people is nice and very helpful. When we left in early morning to the airport (around 6:00am), they prepared take away breakfast for us even it's just simple fruit, biscuit and drink. We felt very warm and the service is over 5 stars hotel. We recommend to all if you're going to Quito.”
