“5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options.……

“L’hôtel est construit comme un ensemble de maisons du pays en pierres apparentes au milieu d'oliviers. “This hotel is one of the best hotels that we stayed in Greece in terms of its excellent customer service, facilities, comfortable room with a huge balcony overlooking the sea as well a beautiful view of the Monemvasia island where the old town is. “Fantastic location and the view of the ocean from our room. Breakfast was super good, the best one during our trip in Greece. The property is not new and there was some smell of old wood in the room. I hoped to use the fireplace as it was cold outside but they didn’t have wood, so it was disappointing. ”

“Service from Katerina at the buffet breakfast restaurant was exceptional. She brought us tea in a tea cup each morning. She was pleasant and accommodating. Food was good. The only thing I would suggest is having a pot of coffee in the lobby for early risers.”
