“From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcomed and special. Upon entering the home, we discovered that the host had left a personalized thank you card with cookies and a keepsake ornament. The property was easily accessed, clean, and as described. The host Teri went out of her way to make sure there was absolutely everything a guest would need, from kitchen and cooking essentials, health and beauty supplies, to firewood for the fire pit. “One must realize they're staying in an historical site. The views are amazing, the staff always friendly. If I had any issues,staff was willing to address as needed. After one nights stay, decided another was needed. Asked about availability in person, and was accommodated, even matched the price shown on Expedia. This is the third time I've stayed in one of the casitas, and won't be the last. Other times camping at adjacent Winding Road tent sites, staff would say hello, wave and even went to……

“Great location if you want solitude. Loved the view of the dam at night and the sunsets. Just wished they had WIFI. But we dealt with it....”

“Room was nice even though hotel is dated. Hotel has private mineral baths that are free. You can also pay extra for upgraded mineral baths and open air mineral bath on roof. We paid extra for mineral bath on roof and enjoyed looking at the stars. Hotel clerk was extremely helpful. ”
