“We stayed for a holiday ski trip for our kids. The location was perfect - close to the slopes and restaurants, but in a quiet and private neighborhood. The house was great as well. We had plenty to do and lots of space for everyone. Hosts are very attentive and the whole process was super easy. Highly recommend!”

“Great stay, cabin had everything we needed and the firewood on property was nice. Plenty of room for the dog to roam outside and we left tick free, which is always a plus. Park bench in front of your personal falls went great with the morning coffee. Blackwater falls was a fun trip. The path down is on the back side of the parking lot beside the snake shop. It's a trek down to the falls, be prepared. Douglas and Albert falls was a good time, when you get there. Getting back to Douglas……

“My husband and I stayed at this cabin between 7/30 to 8/1/2025. It was absolutely lovely and a quiet, relaxing get away. We enjoyed the beautiful space, the outdoor views and hikes, and, of course, the hot tub! Nothing is better after a week of travel than de-stressing somewhere so calm and cute. The hosts were helpful and communicative, the home was clean and beds were comfortable, and everything was curated for max relaxation. Loved this place!”

Wildlife refuge visitors center and Canaan state park 10 minutes in the other direction. Endless trail opportunities throughout. Simply everything you need right there. ”
