Our first stay occurred in July, and the air conditioning got a workout and was quite effective. “Foxtail house is a comfortable, spacious and peaceful retreat. Located on a stunning section of tidal river you will find yourself mesmerized by the wildlife, bird song and the play of light on the marsh grasses. We were a group of 6 family members attending a days long memorial gathering and we were very thankful to be able to return to such a lovely home at the end of the day. Clean, fully stocked kitchen, great bathrooms, several indoor and outdoor gathering spots as well as bedrooms well……

“The stay was fantastic, it is right on the river, fishing was good (caught some huge catfish), the pool was A+ for hot days, and we had an overall wonderful time. Kitchen was extremely well stocked, plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out, and a fire under the stars is a special treat we were able to enjoy.”

“Lots of room for 5 adults, manageable with 2 full baths and one powder room. Space for everyone to stretch out between our family wedding activities. Some cosmetic blemishes on the inside, but nothing to detract from the sense of a nice property on a very quiet street. Unfortunately, due to our schedules, we were unable to take advantage of the deck, but it looked nice. The location worked out well for our needs.”
