“This was our third stay & we will likely return so that’s a good recommendation I think! The rooms are thoughtfully designed, most have balconies where one can sun bathe or picnic or read a book. The hotel is in the centre of Olhao & the front desk staff are always very helpful. The bar & small swimming pool on the top floor are good spaces & offer wonderful views of the town. ”

“Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful in recommending places to go in Olhao. Relaxing pool area. Location was good, just a short walk from the town and marina. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as we felt that local cafes had more atmosphere. We really enjoyed Olhao and would choose the Cidade again. ”

“Very nice hostel with good facilities and outdoor space. The shower did leak onto the floor and it was a bit silly to ask for €20 cash as a deposit to use the iron and hairdryer (I have never had to hand over a deposit for these) as I was on my way home the next day and didn’t want to get it out in cash. I managed to convince the receptionist to give both to me without a deposit in the end! Overall really comfortable stay. ”

“A boutique hotel with an outstanding staff. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast could use a little more variety. The hotel is walking distance from most major sites. Restaurants are numerous throughout the area, all within walking distance. ”

“Hotel is conveniently located near the old town and mamy restaurants. Breakfast is delicious and the view on rooftop is nice. Room is clean but the water draining from the bathtub is slow.”
