“This is a nice, historic farmhouse on a stream right outside of Hancock, NY. Centrally located for drift boat trips on the West Branch and Mainstem. Although it is on a two lane road, the backyard is very private and the large windows give a great view of the stream.”

“Fabulous getaway! Pictures do not do this lakefront home justice. Extremely spacious and welcoming.. you would never know that this home was even attached to the owner’s home. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to make use of the outdoor lake toys. Know your directions as Verizon cell phone service does not work in that area.. Definitely will be rebooking!”

“I arrived later than planned so I got lost in the dark trying to find the place. Super cute and cozy. Close to the lake and restarting/bar. There is no heat, but the owner provided a space heater. I love the cold so I didn’t need it. ”

“Adorable cottage literally a two minute walk from the lake. Great hiking paths within the Lake Makoma community. The house is comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay here again.”

Eclectic, tasteful furniture, a mix of antique and comfortable contemporary furniture - one of the most tasteful VRBO's I've ever stayed in. Side porch, great location. And that view! “We’ve stayed here for Memorial Day weekend.Unfortunately weather was not so good and too cold to enjoy swimming pool but we really enjoyed using fire stove while we were there.The house was well stocked and clean and there is everything what we needed.The location of the property was really private and quiet.It was perfect to be relaxed.The huge yard was really well maintained.My 3 years old son was enjoy strolling.We went to farmer’s market and Alpaca farm.The owner came by and brought sticky……
