“Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Simply appointed and has necessities. Quiet area directly on the Ohio River, not far from Garden of the Gods. About thirty minutes from Harrisburg. We drove in and ate at Morello's one day and The BBQ Barn on another day. Both good choices. ”

“Enjoyed every minute. The river-facing windows and deck allowed us to experience the view all day and night. Don’t be fooled by the charming vintage exterior because the amenities are all in excellent condition. The mattresses are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom is luxurious with the jacuzzi being everything you could ask for. Close to spectacular hiking trails and scenery. Highly recommend!”

“We usually explore a city every year for our anniversary. This year, on our 12th year anniversary, we decided that we wanted to go somewhere where we could be alone and surrounded by nature. This was the absolute perfect getaway for us and we plan to come back with the kids!”

“We had a fantastic stay at this cozy house! The accommodations were excellent—clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed to cook meals during our trip. One of our favorite things was the ice cream and coffee shop right on the corner—such a nice treat to have just steps away!The location was perfect for my job assignment, making the daily commute easy and stress-free. “We booked for a night because we would be in the area and wanted to take a day in the Shawnee. It's very close to some great spots in national forest. Definitely check out Bell Smith Springs if the weather cooperates. The camper is on the same property as the host's winery and he was on-site at the winery during business hours and happy to answer questions about the area and property. We took advantage of the grill and little fishing pond when we got back for the forest.”
