“This location is a great place to stay for those who are exploring the Shawnee National Forest. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking the Gardens of the Gods. The house is located next to several great restaurants. 10/10 stay! ”

“We enjoyed this tiny house during our stay. It’s clean, dog-friendly with a fenced patio and within a 20-30 minute drive to the surrounding popular hiking and nature sight-seeing spots. The town itself is very small and you’ll need to drive a little ways for restaurants and groceries. The mercantile shop directly next door is very cute and a great spot to get coffee, Ice cream and local goods. Would recommend for a family of four (like us) or smaller. ”

“Tinley house was a comfortable clean get-away that was a great place to relax after exploring the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. Hiking in the Garden of the Gods was the highlight of our trip and we appreciated the Tinley house when we were done because we could cook our meals and enjoy watching t.v. Thank you for this lovely quaint home-away-from-home!”

“The cabin was bigger than i thought and had a full kitchen. The back deck had an amazing view but would have been better if it had steps to the firepit. We just had to walk around from the front. The galley style kitchen had a big fridge and gas stove, both nice stainless steel but needed a light over the stove. Could use an upgrade on the coffee maker but it worked and we thoroughly enjoyed having coffebon the deck. The room was big with 2 queen sized beds but the matresses could use an……
