“What's great: The location is right at one end of the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge. Unfortunately, the bridge is closed until late 2026, and the hotel does not mention this on their website. Boo! Nonetheless, it's only a few blocks downhill to the aquarium, and a short climb over a cool overpass to the Hunter Museum. Lots of local artwork. Some of it is pretty good. The sheets. The view. “This was a really cool hotel. We stayed here on Valentine’s Day because we went to a show in the Walker theater and it was close by. I love the retro design. We had the tiki suite and it had a sitting area with a fireplace and it was so nice to sit by the fire after we’d been out walking in the cold. If you’re looking for something with a cool vibe and a lot of character, give this place a look. ”

“The Moxy is our new favorite hotel in downtown Chattanooga. The atmosphere of this hotel is very chill. They have a bar with plenty of casual seating. “The staff was all so friendly. The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable. They offered a free meal that was fantastic with bbq sliders, hot dogs, and sides along with three free adult beverages for each adult. Exceptional stay. We will definitely be back!!”
