“What's great: The location is right at one end of the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge. Unfortunately, the bridge is closed until late 2026, and the hotel does not mention this on their website. Boo! Nonetheless, it's only a few blocks downhill to the aquarium, and a short climb over a cool overpass to the Hunter Museum. Lots of local artwork. Some of it is pretty good. The sheets. The view. “This was a really cool hotel. We stayed here on Valentine’s Day because we went to a show in the Walker theater and it was close by. I love the retro design. We had the tiki suite and it had a sitting area with a fireplace and it was so nice to sit by the fire after we’d been out walking in the cold. If you’re looking for something with a cool vibe and a lot of character, give this place a look. ”

“Easy access from the interstate. Once checked in, we drove around the building and parking was well lighted, safe and easy to access. The breakfast was A+. Directly across the street from the Chattanooga Conventions Center and lots of room behind the lobby to visit, play games, etc. We didn't use the pool or sauna. Laundry room on site too. Very clean.”

“My stay at the Moxy was very enjoyable. The room was very clean but the design was a little dark for my taste and I would opt for a front facing bed next time. The staff were very nice and helpful and the centrally located bar was fun giving you the opportunity to mingle with fellow travelers. It is centrally located and convenient to the downtown area.”
