“We stayed for one night at the Woolpack. Lovely location, nice food, very comfy beds. Our only downside was breakfast. It starts at 0800am, a few guests had arrived then and sat down. Staff did not seem ready. Still bringing out juice, milk, glasses etc… Did not take food order until nealy 0815 and the food did not arrive until 0845. ”

“I loved my one night stay - truly relaxing - in one of the rooms with bath/shower & loo on a mezzanine above the bed. ~20 minutes awayfrom Scafell and 35 minutes away from the Hardknott Pass, it's location is in dramatic countryside. The bedroom is modern, clean and of a good size. The bed was very comfortable with great linen and pillows. Faith and the team were very welcoming even when I turned up too early. There are a couple of wooden benches in front of the buildings and a hot tub behind.……
