“We had a wonderful stay at Humperdinck. The house was cute, clean and comfortable but it was the location that made our stay! The house is located on the edge of marshlands (full of samphire). In the field over the hedge were cows which my son found endlessly entertaining but frustrating…he wanted to feed them.One highlight was when a cow (we named her Betty) escaped onto the road and had to be coaxed back into the field by the farmer.Humperdinck is ideal if you’re looking for somewhere away……

“A charming little serviced cottage in a gated alley in Maldon. It was imaginatively laid out and very attractive. Some of the facilities were looking a little tired (e.g. sofa bed) and with a few little niggles (leaky shower, hot water not working in the bathroom) but overall very good.”

“The only thing that spoilt my 5 night stay was the chair in the rooms that I have used over a period of time at the Bull, they are so uncomfortable. They are not ideal for sitting on for a short / long period during an evening spent in your room watching TV. A bucket type chair would be better..”
