“Despite its being a motel in an unsafe area on Hwy 101, across from a marijuana shop such that you get out of the car and smell it- the grounds, room, bed, and customer service were excellent. The front staff was always eager to help. The pool area has a tropical oasis vibe and hotel staff were often keeping it clean and tidy. You could tell the management was excellent. It is a quick one minute drive to the historic downtown( we felt unsafe as we walked it), with restaurants and shops. They……

“Such a beautiful place to stay in Crescent City California. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodated all of our needs. The kids loved swimming in the indoor heated pool and taking a walk on the beach. The sunset from the room was amazing. I was worried about the reviews I read on hotels.com but we had a really good experience. There was 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children. The room was just right and we felt very comfortable. My son is special needs and we worried about safety with the……

“The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied with our room, beds were comfortable and the TV was big with Netflix and YouTube which is a definite plus for us. The premises were very quiet and convenient to coffee shops and grocery stores. We visited the bird sanctuary which was very close by our hotel.We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Arcata. ”
