“We were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating this home was for a larger group. There were so many thoughtful touches—from extra linens and air mattresses to easy-to-use appliances and lots of seating. The living area was great for hanging out, and the garage space gave us room to spread out. Everything was clean and organized when we arrived, and the host was quick to answer questions. Definitely one of the better group accommodations we've booked.”

“My husband and I came to Crescent City to visit the redwood forest. The location of this property was a perfect distance from Jedidiah Smith state park and parks south of Crescent City. The property was a bit rough on the outside but inside was brand new and spotless. Neighborhood was quiet and safe and close to many restaurants, visitors center and beaches. “Minutes walk from the beach” in the listing was misleading- it is a 25 minute walk to a nearby beach. “Loved this comfy little house. Was well stocked and very clean. Had Kpod coffee cups or drip coffee. We were able to walk down to the beach. Loved all the hooks. I’m always looking for places to hang things (I even travel with hooks) I didn’t need to look here, so many hooks! Had some chairs, towels, beach things. Wish we could have used them but it was too windy when we came. Love the Brita filter in the fridge. Really really loved that they didn’t ask me to take off the sheets. I hate when I’m……

“The neighborhood is in a good walking area, but a little desolate. The heating, cleanliness, water pressure, WiFi were all great. The kitchen was basic and the neighborhood didn’t have amazing food options, but it was a great launching pad for exploring Arcata, Clam Beach, Trinidad and the state parks.”

“Beautiful hiking trails near by, literally the perfect location to explore this beautiful part of California. And to have a hot tub nestled in the redwoods to soak after all that exploring, yes!!!And the beds were so cozy. Such a simple pleasure but often these rentals strike out here. These beds and linens were so comfortable.”
