The room was very small but clean with a lovely en-suite shower room attached. the beds were very comfortable. “Our bedroom was tastefully decorated and clean. It was a spacious room, with a good ensuite bathroom. The bed was comfortable, with nice bedding. The breakfast menu was exrensive, with some great options. Our food was well cookwd and tasty. All of the hotel.staff were friendly, professional and helpful”

For those who are looking for air con, instant internet etc it probably is not for you but for the rest of us who like quirky, individual and very English it a 10. 2 best points are the staff who are quiet frankly brilliant, helpful, kind , funny and friendly and efficient.
