“This cottage was lovely. Honestly, I wouldn't change anything about it. Patty was very helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was quite comfortable for two. Some of my favorite things there were the flowers. They were everywhere! She obviously has a very green thumb. We would love to stay there again. ”

“Great property, very comfortable, very clean,,Thoughtfully designed. Cool neighborhood! Wish I got to spend more time here. I was at a conference in downtown Oakland and decided to stay in the sanctuary because hotels were overbooked. “She was super sweet, and accommodating. The flat is lovely with impeccable artistic flair. I slept on the pull out couch and it was cozy. The shower was spacious and fantastic. I would walk 50 feet across the street to get all the basics from the liquor store and that was fun. Downtown restaurants were a few blocks away. Great spot. Great place to stay. Five stars”

“We were pleasantly blown away at the amount of space in the house. We had everything that we needed. The location is peaceful and quiet; a hidden oasis. I wish we could have spend more time in the patio right off the family room. We highly recommend staying here to relax or unwind.”

“I am not sure if it's the property manager, who did call and apologize the next day, or VRBO processes and management. We were not able to access the property at midnight, having just arrived in Oakland. After repeated attempts to contact the property manager all day for a door code, I finally called VRBO. The property had been rented, possibly under a different company. I am not sure. We were left to find accomodations at 1 AM. The property was right by the family's house we were visiting so……
