“A great little older beach motel. Easy walk to the beach near the back of the property and restaurants within walking distance too. The village is small and mostly residential, yet there is a Food Lion and several restaurants and shops within a mile or so. ”

“This place was perfect. Would recommend to everyone. There is a lift for luggage so you don’t have to carry everything up 3 flights of stairs. The only questionable comment I have is this. Why am I required to sweep and mop and vacuum before leaving? ”

“This was the perfect little place for us to stay in the OBX. Everything was clean and you could see the beach from the top deck. Everything worked in the kitchen ( we went to food lion and cooked almost every night ) Everything in the description was correct. The hot tub is out of this world! I will be staying here again! ”

“Wonderful stay! Awesome property! Perfectly clean! Would give it 10 stars if that were an option. Very comfortable with all the amenities needed for a marvelous stay. Beautifully decorated. Fantastic view. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the pelicans, cormorants, and gulls as well as the jumping mullet. Mike is an excellent host! This is our second time staying at Mariner's Terrace. Definitely would stay again. ”

“Enjoyed the unit and location. Two improvements needed: 1) pillows are not comfortable and 2) need light swith at entry door so do not have to climb stairs in dark.”
