“The house was cute and very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed evenings on the front porch. It would've been nice to have screens on the windows. The weather was perfect and we couldn't open up because the bugs would come. Also the tub is just for show. It would have been awesome if it had been plumbed and usable.”

While it’s evident that the host has stocked it with all the items to make for a great getaway, the most disappointing part was the cleanliness. The bottom half of the glass shower door was cloudy with the soap residue; bath towels were very dingy and didn’t smell fresh; the washcloths had very unpleasant smell as well. “Amazing place to stay that really brings you back to the days when things were a little slower paced. Lots of old car and gas station memorabilia that is decorated very nicely. The highway 90 out front was very quite and not real busy. Train is close by but did not bother or effect us in the least. Front outdoor area nice to relax with coffee and start the day and the backyard area with firepit is a great place to end that day. Everything was clean and tidy with plenty of necessary supplies.……

“We had an amazing holiday vacation in this beautiful barn home. The whole house well well set up for families with tons of amenities. The kitchen is a chef's dream! The beds were all comfortable and there was plenty or room to either be together or spread out. We loved fishing in the ponds and walking the property. Lots to do and so close to town!
