“First the good ... The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety of options for people with different dietary needs. The location was convenient to where I needed to be. There was an issue with water in the hallway because another guest had dripped a lot of water from the pool to the elevator, and the staff got that cleaned up quickly after I let them know about it Negatives ... “The Dixie Motel is wonderful! We had a college graduation family stay. The rooms are brand new and clean and clean modern bathrooms! Fresh breakfast with orange juice and love the pour over coffee in each room! All the attention to details. Soft comfy beds with amazing bed linens. We will be back for sure!”

“Most of the staff was amazing except for the front desk clerk that worked Saturday between 3 and 11pm. She was a little snippy when a member of our party let her know that we had forgot to put a room number or to let them know we were at the pool on our pizza delivery. All other staff was great, and the pool and pool area were nice and clean. The room was clean and housekeeping staff was awesome. ”

“The electricity was off because of a storm when we arrived. The hotel offered to reimburse our $$ but we had no where else to stay. So we used our flashlights and went to our room. The electricity came on about midnight. The next day I asked if they could comp our night because of the power outage but the said is was beyond their control so couldn’t refund our money. It would have been nice to have received a refund. But otherwise the stay was fine. ”
