“The cottage is very cute and a great place for a solo vacation alongside a lake! Everything needed for cooking is available in the kitchen, and plenty of room in the fridge for groceries needed on vacation. I was able to use the kayak available, and it was on a small rolling cart so was easy for me to pull it just down the street to the public launch. A morning kayak on the lake before all the motorboats and jetskis come out was very peaceful and beautiful. I walked across the street to……

“Quaint, personable, idyllic ”

“This place seemed smaller than listed. I think the description had it at 2,300 square feet or so. I didn't measure it but it would really surprise me if it's that big. The inside of the house was clean but has quite a bit of what I consider to be antique clutter. If you like that type of thing, you'll probably feel right at home here. The yard and landscaping needs a little TLC. The fridge and washer and dryer could be updated. While not right out on Fabun Road, you can see the lake from the……

“Enjoyed our stay. ”

“We stayed at the Family Compound for our annual Cousins Weekend and had an amazing time. The main house and cabins were all beautiful. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. We had a group of 15 people and still had 2 empty bedrooms and never felt crowded. We loved the huge table in the dining room. There was room for all of us at the table. We even called it the “last supper table”, as it was so big. We will absolutely stay here again!! ”
