“This is a lovely and comfortable home within walking distance of Perth. There’s a comfortable sitting room a large dining room for morning breakfast and the rooms were clean and quiet. Graham was the young man managing the property while I was staying and he was wonderful to talk to and most helpful with anything I needed. The breakfasts were delicious and had a huge array of options. I highly recommend it.”

“So, this site started in 1699 so it has some quikiness to it. We had a standard double so,while not a large room, the space was used effectively. We felt comfortable. Only issue with bathroom- shower wasn't hot enough. Breakfast was good, bar made good drinks & staff were very helpful. It was very close to museums & the river walk.”

“Smiddy Haugh was a lucky find. It's off the main drag but with easy access to and from the A9. Family run, with excellent catering, a well-stocked bar and quiet, comfortable rooms at very reasonable prices. On site parking is a bonus. The hosts were welcoming and personable and we felt that our custom was valued throughout. A further bonus for us was having our dogs accommodated too. A very satisfying stayover and we'd certainly stay there again.”
