“We had the best time at the Whale on Main! Communication was excellent, we were welcomed so warmly by the host (including a glass of Gluhwein!), and she even upgraded our room at no cost! Fantastic local recommendations, cute little honest bar, great reading options, and an OUTSTANDING breakfast cooked to order! “The Abalone Lodge is a beautiful property in a magnificent setting overlooking a captivating seascape with a private gate leading to walking paths. The staff was amazing, the food was gourmet level including the breakfast choices. The rooms are very comfortable. I would love to stay here again but next time for whale season. The Aboline Lodge is definitely the perfect place to stay for whale watching or any time when you need to relax and be pampered. ”

“loved our overnight stay, wonderful views of the ocean and mountains. the unit is beautifully decorated with everything you need. very central and easy to walk to restaurants etc. staff were excellent, very helpful. only point to improve is on sustainability, be great if drinking water was not in plastic bottles and invest in coffee plungers rather than disposable pods.”
