“All the rooms are different but all are good-sized. Our room has double bathroom sinks, a large shower, a chaise lounge in addition to two armchairs. Very comfy. The breakfasts are excellent! Their so-called mini-continental is big enough to fill up most people: fresh baked muffin, croissant, fresh fruit, cheeses& meats, yogurt, juice, coffee. But you can also add eggs Benedict, omelette, shashuska, French toast— all included! We were in the winter but I can see how nice it’d be to enjoy their……

“We loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!”

“The grounds are beautiful, and each room is unique and meticulously prepared with heated flooring in the washroom, personalized notes each evening, snacks, drinks and cleaning twice daily. The hotel only accommodates ~20 people which enhances the exclusivity of the experience since it is not open for public consumption. “This hotel deserves a much better rating on Expedia! We just returned from a night and a day in the Provençal Suite. The room and hotel generally are immaculate with all facilities you could want set among pristine gardens. The private plunge pool was a wonderful way to enjoy the view along with the complementary bottle of wine they provided in the room. “We were greeted like part of the family, the room was HUGE (room 5) and the location was perfect. Walked about 15 min to wine tram and there were plenty of restaurants around (Allora had great Italian food!) Breakfast was wonderful, staff was so friendly! Wish we could have stayed longer but we highly recommend this property!”
