“What a lovely place. We throughly enjoyed our stay - ideal location for getting the tram to a number of favourite vineyards. Everywhere in town is walking distance - perfect for leaving your car and enjoy the wines. An extra mention of praise is the staff, my fiancée left her glasses behind and they made the effort to return them safely by post.”

“The Neighborhood is a great place to stay in Franchooek. I’ve stayed here twice-once with my brother and once with my husband and son. The accommodations are stylish and in great condition, and the location near the wine tram can’t be beat. You can walk there and to several stores and restaurants. It’s easy to get in, and we stored our bags after checkout both times without any issues. ”

“This has to be one of my favourite hotels ever. Richard Branson does not disappoint with his focus on customer service and the details that elevate your stay. We were greeted with a cocktail and a tour of the facilities which included tennis courts, a gym, a pool and a spa. The rooms were stunning with a massive soaker tub and floor to ceiling doors opening to a private deck with a swing chair and loungers overlooking the hills of Franschook. “Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift.
