“After a 1 week stay in Cape Town we were looking for a place to stay for two nights close to the airport. We required a stay with airport transportation, a pool or other leisure activities and dining as we would not have a car. The Zevenwacht more than delivered. Located in Stellenbosch region it would also be great starting point for day trips in the area. “The Neighborhood is a great place to stay in Franchooek. I’ve stayed here twice-once with my brother and once with my husband and son. The accommodations are stylish and in great condition, and the location near the wine tram can’t be beat. You can walk there and to several stores and restaurants. It’s easy to get in, and we stored our bags after checkout both times without any issues. ”

“Spacious and very comfortable rooms in a delightful property. Excellent staff, if a little too formal / deferential at times. Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. “The hotel suffers an identity crisis. It positions itself as holiday resort but is actually mode a conference/events centre. Very noisy and not so classy neighbours disturbed our afternoon rest as well as late night sleep. I pity anyone who thought they could relax there in the evening because there were two noisy disco booming functions till midnight. The old world charm is no longer for this destination.”
