“Upon arrival we realized this is not a farm but a little small holding. All units less than 15 feet from each other. A Large Barn is also right opposite the cottages where workers are staying. Drawers in kitchen not in good condition, small stove in a terrible condition. Dead ants in the cupboard. The Sunday morning the workers who stay in the barn opposite the cottages were painting and playing terrible and very loud music. This was not a nice Sunday morning on a farm. The music were turned……

“A beautiful guest house with amazing views over the wheat fields and sheep. The hosts were excellent and always on hand for a chat or advice. Loved the dinner just far too much food but beautifully cooked and would definitely recommend the dinners. Breakfast was equally as good. Lovely pool area for a chill in the afternoon sun.”

“Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift. “The Neighborhood is a great place to stay in Franchooek. I’ve stayed here twice-once with my brother and once with my husband and son. The accommodations are stylish and in great condition, and the location near the wine tram can’t be beat. You can walk there and to several stores and restaurants. It’s easy to get in, and we stored our bags after checkout both times without any issues. ”

“We stayed in one of the Forest cottage. We loved the grounds of the hotel and the gardens were so beautiful. We booked late and the only room available was one of the cottages. We found the decor to be very dated including the bathroom and it had no air con. The bathroom taps were very stiff. The pool area for these cottages felt like it needed updating/cleaned and the lounger covers on the chairs were in need of a clean and quite dirty. Overall we were quite disappointed with the accommodation.……
