“Great stay!”

“Wunderschöne Unterkunft in idyllischer Lage, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Cottages sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und super stylisch. Auch das Frühstück im Pool House war lecker und alle Angestellten überaus freundlich. Tolles Team! Einen Stern Abzug müssen wir leider geben, da wir mehrfach kein Wasser in unserem Cottage hatten, z.B. auch morgens vor dem Duschen und Zähne putzen. Wenn wir Bescheid gegeben haben, wurde das Problem binnen weniger Minuten behoben. Außerdem haben……

“We cannot remember having such a pleasant and relaxing break in such beautiful surroundings plus the staff were attentive, kind and professional. An excellent base for exploring the area and they also produce some excellent wines in their own vineyard. ”

“Nice little complex, friendly staff and restaurant attached served up an excellent dish. Just down the road from wineries and easy access to main roads. We had to leave early for a flight and staff happily assisted with bringing us breakfast the night before. Easy drive to Cape Town airport. ”

“While the place is handsome and well kept, there are serious issues that I encountered that were reported here by others. The two most prominent were that the choice of rooms I was given was either a room with a door that opens strainght into the dining room, or a room with a bath ONLY (= no showerhead... in 2020...). My complaint resulted in the owner explaining to me this the room EXPEDIA assigned to me.... on my second night I moved to a room which was separate from its bathroom, not a great……

“The property is an a beautiful location however the décor is dated and tired and is terribly expensive for what is on offer. Service and food at the Bon Bon cafe on the property is terrible. Overall not a pleasant experience.”

“No provision made with water supply when power went out due to loadshedding. You could not use the bathroom at all. NO extra drinking water in the room. Breakfast at restaurant was also not great. Sorry, not a good overall experience at all. It is situated in a beautiful area. ”
