“Pool wasn’t open and that was half the reason why I chose this place however, that was not advertised in the listing. We went during early December so it was very quiet. However breakfast was extra. It was okay not the best and dinner was never available so yeah to say the dining is limited, would be just telling partial story staff are pretty nice, not a lot of English. “The riad was beautiful. We arrived in the afternoon and was first led into a reception area next to the courtyard, which gives us a wonderful view of the beautiful courtyard. We were then greeted with some mint tea and biscuits which were lovely. The staffs were all warm and friendly, and was very helpful with carrying our luggages upstairs. The room was spacious, warm and tastefully decorated. It had a very high ceiling which we enjoyed very much. The bathroom was big and quite nicely decorated……

“Expedia rates this Riad as "impressive". Well, they're many impressive riads in Fez, but this is not one. The building is nice and could be a wonderful riad, but it's poorly managed and maintained with a result far worse than in pictures. It's definitely not a 4 starts hotel, as pretended, rather a B&B. Two people take turns 24 hours, sleeping in the sofas. They do their best, but this is not the kind of service one can expect. Breakfast is correct, not excellent. The rooms in the upper floor……
