“I really enjoyed my time at the KEX hotel! The rooms were kept nice and the bedding was so good. (I stayed in a shared room) The bathroom was clean, the food was good, the drinks were good! The staff were so kind! The only con is the parking…there isn’t a designated parking lot for the hotel and most of the time i had to circle around to find a spot. “Loved it. Having a dog finding a decent place to stay where they don’t put you in a gross room is hard. Whole place is dog friendly. Staff included. They gave us a doggy welcome gift with poo bags and treats. The park and out door area located behind the facility is amazing. Great place to walk your dog and for kids to play. “The hotel is very close to the airport, which made it super convenient for us as we were flying out real early in the AM. It is going through renovations, and we were in one of the newly renovated rooms, which was beautiful and excellent! The bed was very comfortable and we had no complaints. Staff at front desk was very friendly too! Will definitely stay there again when in Portland!”

“From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome. The lobby was clean, the attendant was cordial and he was sensitive to my aura. The car rental (Thrifty) was horrendous, my reserved car was 2.5 hours late however, my late arrival at hotel was met with concern and calmness. The room was just what I wanted, quiet, peaceful, and CLEAN! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Portland:)”

“Had an unplanned layover in Portland while getting repair work done on my Sprinter Van. An employee at Outside Van recommended McMenamins Edgefield and really glad I chose this place. Unique lodging experience and fabulous dinner and breakfast at the pub and restaurant in the main lodge. Much better than staying at a chain hotel! Would have liked to take advantage of the billiards, but didn’t have anyone to play with. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Portland area!”

“I'll definitely stay here again if I'm in town, but will ask for a better room closer to things for my mom who has trouble walking. The pool was very busy with kids but that was fine. I do wish there were less ants in the pool forst tbing in the morning. The staff are ALL so, so nice!! ”
