Everything was an easy drive, and downtown Staunton was like 5 minutes away for anything you needed from restaurants, Walmart, Historic Downtown with the shops, but you felt like you were in the quiet, peaceful country.Unit was adorable and well appointed with everything we needed, and was cleaned and taken care of well (especially considering how old the place……

“My husband and I stayed here over a long weekend to explore the Staunton area and it worked out nicely. The owners were always very on top of communication, kind, and accommodating. Everything in the home was decorated well, and functioned well for 2 people who like to save a bit and do breakfast in the house and have some leftovers around after eating out. The location was close to downtown and we walked practically everywhere in the downtown area from the house. It does sit atop a pretty steep……

“This cottage was the perfect place for us! It's in a very quiet neighborhood near a park that has a trail by the river and plenty of picnic tables. There is a grocery store nearby, good restaurants and just about anything else you would need. The house was spotless and we arrived to find snacks, and milk, eggs and butter already in the fridge. We highly recommend!”

“This setting was absolutely bucolic, and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were stunning. But it seemed as if the owner was not ready for our visit. We arrived on a very chilly day, and the heaters had been turned on, but not long enough to warm up the cottage. We actually had to sleep in our coats it was so cold that first night. It took almost 24 hrs for the cottage to feel comfortable. It appeared that we were the first guests of the year, and the cottage had not been deep cleaned since……
