“Das Hotel liegt wunderbar am Loch Melfort. Zu den Highlights gehört noch das Essen, dessen Preis auch für schottische Verhältnisse eher gehoben ist. Das Hotel selbst ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten ein Superiorzimmer mit Meerblick im Anbau gebucht. Bauweise des Anbaus und Ausstattung des Zimmers sind als eher einfach zu bezeichnen. Insgesamt waren wir angesichts der hervorragenden Bewertung für das Hotel doch ziemlich enttäuscht. ”

“Enjoyed our stay - beautiful location in glorious weather!! ☀️ Just a few extra touches would have made all the difference, such as upgraded amenities in our room (providing tissues, magnifying mirror, better quality toiletries etc) and more varied dining and breakfast menu options, otherwise a fairly standard 4 star hotel. Biggest issue was the creaky floor above our bedroom, sounded like the elephants were having a dance!! All in all however, we would definitely stay there again 😊”
