“Beautiful manor house surrounded by acres of land and rich history. The service was amazing from check-in to checkout. Our room was beautifully appointed and decorated. Dinner was delicious at the hotel’s restaurant. My favorite part though were the Highland cows in a field behind the house. An absolute must stay!”

“The staff is so accommodating. The first day we arrived the front desk arranged for a taxi for the next morning.We had an early morning excursion. Second they arranged for a continental breakfast for us before the restaurant was opened so we could have a bite to eat. Then we phoned them and said we would be late returning after a lite fair is served. And they had a little snack available. They are very friendly and answered any questions we had. “The view of the river and trees in the seating area behind the bunkhouse was beautiful. The staff were wonderful but reception being closed until 4pm makes it difficult to find help if you have any questions during the day. There were also no lockers in the rooms, or much space for personal storage. Other than that it was all lovely. ”

“This place is so cute and nice. The gentleman that greeted us at the property gave us some excellent recommendations for eating and shopping. The next morning he had our breakfast all ready. This was one of our favorite stays in Scotland. Would definitely stay here again.”

“This lodge is such a gem and it deserves all the praise. The woman who runs it is absolutely lovely — so kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly. We ended up chatting with her a lot, and she always made time for us, which we really appreciated (especially since we probably talked her ear off, sorry!).
