“Wonderful quiet and clean hotel in a great location to explore many beautiful hill towns in Umbria and Tuscany. Breakfast buffet was amazing and, like all services at the hotel, was very friendly and efficient. Citta della Pieve is an attractive and surprisingly interesting hill town which projects a genuine feel for life in Umbria with relatively few tourists. “We stayed in the Zodiac Room, which has frescos on the ceiling and beautiful antique furniture. The room is right off a shared common area which is also palatial and furnished with antiques. If you want to experience lifving in an autherntic Italian palazzo, this is the place! The owners are very freindly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.”

“The best accommodations we've had in Italy. The rooms are so cute! The stone walls, brick ceiling, and chandelier... I felt like I woke up in a castle. The entire property is just beautiful!! Breakfast was yummy. I wish I took more of the chocolate pastry. Staff was so helpful and friendly. We even met the owner, who was so kind and most generous. “Lovely greeting. Husband and wife run hotel. Beautifully clean. Probably the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in so far. Beautiful location. Amply parking. Breakfast has good options but nothing hot apart from toast. Still very tasty. We drove down to the local town. Plenty of restaurants etc. Pool and terrace over looking beautiful views. “Alles sehr nett und vor allem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wird gut Englisch gesprochen. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch, dass es ein richtiges Frühstücksbuffet gibt mit Rührei, Wurst und Käse, Kuchen, Müsli etc. und nicht nur, wie sonst in Italien üblich, ein trockenes Hörnchen mit einem Klecks Marmelade. “Chambre propre et spacieuse. Literie confortable. Petit dejeuner correct qui propose un peu de salé ce qui est rare en Italie. Parking disponible. Par contre très bruyant. Les portes n'ont pas de poignées donc elles claquent, et pour fermer a clé ca claque aussi. Donc jusqu'à tard le soir et dès tot le matin c'est insupportable. Sans compter sur les clients sans manière qui parlent très fort.”
