“My family (my husband and me plus four 20-something children) spent the week of Christmas here. Best. Vacation. Ever. This house was perfect for the 6 of us. Plenty of room to be together or not. Well equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook for ourselves (I easily managed a rib roast and homemade pies for Christmas dinner here because there were roasting pans, pie plates, and even a pastry blender already there!) The sight and sound of the ocean is healing and it is everywhere. Pictures don’t……

“We chose to stay at this property because of the proximity to Jedidiah State Park and prior reviews. When we arrived we found the cabin/house to be clean and cozy. After a long day of exploring the Redwoods we settled down to a fire and some TV. We really enjoyed our time and found our short trip to be relaxing.”

We ended up getting there really late and the house was wonderful to walk into. The next morning was a beautiful sight and sound to be right on the river. Also, the road this home is on the Howland Road which takes you to some of the most beautiful Redwoods! This was a great home base to explore and hike the different majestic Redwoods. ”
