“We had a great time. The house was clean, the view was excellent, the neighborhood was quiet.A few suggestions: fix the fireplace. The weather was cloudy and rainy and a working fireplace would have been very welcome. Also a few homey touches would go a long way.”

Just a note to those who have ambulatory issues: There are Many Stairs to reach the entry of home from the parking area below by the garage; and only one bedroom on entry level of home and that floor does not have a shower or bath tub. Also the 2 bathrooms upstairs do not have any safety bars in the bathrooms.”

“Felt like a home away from home! Nestled in a forest of giants, this was a welcoming place to stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable and cozy, especially after a day spent exploring, and the coffee/tea bar made for easy relaxing mornings. Despite the fact it rained all weekend while we were there, the house was full of natural light from skylights and plenty of windows. This is humble and well maintained property that I’d love to book again for future adventures!”

We have rented many other places in Crescent City and this will be our go to moving forward. Communication with the owners was easy and friendly. Walking on the beach every afternoon, while watching the tide come in and go out, with the beautiful lighthouse views - it was ideal. Perfect in every way - I wish we could……
