“This property is well located in the centre of town with easy walking distance to the river, cafes and town sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner are very good. The only downside is that rooms are accessed by very steep circular stairs and the car park is accessed by a very tight driveway and limited parking spaces. There is a public car park behind that is easier to access, but Pay and Display during the day. We very much enjoyed our stay in this heritage pub……

“Situated in a lovely location. It’s owned by a chain so I had the exact same menu as my previous nights stay. All in all it was very good. Clean, attentive staff. ”

“Tewkesbury Hotel has a great location with beautiful views, and there are a few nice trails nearby that you can access from the golf course. Breakfast was fantastic, but the main menu was a bit hit or miss. The bar was okay — good wine selection, including some great British wines, but it was a shame there weren’t any premium spirits. The room we ended up with was really nice, though we had some issues with the first one. Thankfully, the staff sorted it quickly and we were happy with how it was……

“Beautiful property for couples or singles. Would not recommend for children. Charged 7.5 pounds for each 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 year olds for breakfast. Location is good, food was good. Our room on the top floor might be a bit hot in warm weather. Opening window let in mosquitos.”

“Second time I've stayed here, only issue is breakfasts seem to be a bit disorganised; both times I've stayed here, I've been forgotten! Having said that, every staff member is super friendly, and super helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I'm in the area at least once a month for work, so I'll continue to stay here, as the bed, breakfast and dinner deal is great value and keeps our accounts dept happy! Just don't forget me at breakfast! 🙂”

“Great property in an ideal location. Bit noisy sometimes with creaky floorboards and neighbours above walking around a lot but otherwise can’t fault it. Would stay again. ”

“Wonderful business stay, staff so friendly Becky was a lovely and showed me to my room, served a great pint of guiness to, the young lady waitress had a lovely welcoming smile and very tentative, owners Ian & Lyndsey very welcoming and so helpful, definitely recommend the food i had steak pie beautiful. And the full English , all well priced. Room absolutely wonderful Definitely will be staying on business again ”
