“Interior common areas and especially the staff are terrific. The rooms are due for restoration: it appears there was once a roof leak above our room and we could see a gnarly ceiling patch job. Our tub drain would not clear, and that's never fun... On the exterior are many wonderful paintings of Native American life. These are beautiful. My favorite is probably the children playing. “We had a wonderful stay at Jon & Katie’s beautiful home. My family, ranging in age from 14-85 yo, stayed for four nights to attend my niece’s wedding. The home was spacious, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. With so many bedrooms we were easily able to spread out, and the varied living/gathering spaces made relaxation and hanging out fun. “The San Diego family traveled to Arcata for my grandson's high school graduation. The house was generously sized for adults and younger grandchildren who made the trip. The location was quiet yet close to grocery shopping in Sunny Brae. The house was very clean and neat, bath towels fluffy, kitchen fully equipped. The upstairs suite was perfect for the oldest (me) member of our troupe. I highly recommend Humboldt Haven!”
