“Host was proactive in communicating about accessing the space and answered quickly when we were trying to locate the house (a little confusing since the driveway was full and the house number was hard to locate). “We loved our stay at this private, cozy guesthouse in Lafayette! The location was perfect—just a short walk to great restaurants and shops in Old Town. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, which made it feel like a true retreat. I stayed with a friend; she had the bedroom, and I took the sofa bed, which was surprisingly comfortable! The space is decorated in such a cute and thoughtful way, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“1st VRBO experience. Everything was great except for the very steep stairs up to the carriage house. Not good for the mobility-challenged which we both are. Loved the many windows in the unit and the breezes coming through made sleeping enjoyable. ”

"Everything was great, except for the toilet in my room, which took 5 minutes to stop refilling the water tank. The noise was disturbing. The front desk staff verified the issue around 2:00 am but couldn’t fix it, and no room change was available. I had to use the toilet three more times that early morning, which was particularly troublesome at night. Additionally, the coffee machine dispensed hairs when I tried to get hot water, making me concerned about using it for coffee. I reported these issues, and the gentleman at the front desk took my mobile number, assuring me that the manager would contact me within two days. However, two weeks have passed, and I have not been contacted. Overall, it was not a good experience, but it might be only associated with that room."
