“We had an incredible stay at this beautiful chalet! It was spacious and comfortable, with more than enough room for our entire family—me, my wife, our two boys, my parents, and my sister. The master bedroom off the stunning living room was ideal for my mom, who can find stairs physically challenging.The real fireplace upstairs created an amazing atmosphere, especially with the snow falling outside—it truly felt like a winter retreat. Our kids LOVED the bunk beds, which were absolutely perfect……

“We all came up to see the eclipse. The cottage was easy to fine, had great bedrooms, a wonderful kitchen, and perfecct yard for all my grandchildren to enjoy. Our host was helpful and easy to contact for questions. We do recommend this "House by a pond" for a pleasant stay away from home.”

“Love this property! Beautiful views from every window. Three generations of family and enough room so no one got on another’s nerves. Loved the game room. Only one of four cars was able to scale the VERY STEEP and Icy driveway so loading and unloading was a problem. But we managed. ”

“This beautiful log chalet provided the perfect setting for our family ski vacation. The home was clean with quality linens and a well-appointed kitchen, and it was close to town and the slopes. The layout worked well for our family of 8 adults plus an infant and toddler- there was space for everyone. The hot tub was much appreciated après-ski!The host was very attentive to our needs. We would definitely recommend this lovely chalet and would stay here again on our next visit to Ellicottville.”

“We enjoyed our thanksgiving stay very much! We arrived in groups of two over the course of 6 hours driving in from Connecticut, Pennsylvania and flying in from Oklahoma. The quaint house was the perfect fit for my crazy family. It made use of every nook and cranny for beds and bathrooms. Because we were having Thanksgiving there we were very grateful to have two refrigerators to store the huge amounts of food that we brought. Luckily because everything was pre-cooked we only needed the one oven……

“This property was so excellent that we never even felt the need to go into town -- we cooked, relaxed, used the hot tub and the barrel sauna so much that we never need to leave. Clean property, just as listed and shown. Plenty of space to stretch out with two families, plus a few of our kids friends. And our host was also amazing and very responsive. Great place...highly recommend!”

“Our family had a blast in this home. You can see the slopes from the back porch, and only 100 yard drive to the closest lodge. Very nice appliances as well. Hot tub was great after a long day of skiing. ”
