“This is the place best to stay if you want to get away in the peace and quiet of rural Wisconsin. Larry and LuAnn greeted us with a warm welcome when we arrived, and it felt like we'd known them forever. The space was comfortable for the 4 of us, with ample room to make meals, lots of windows to see the beautiful countryside (and watch the storms come in!), comfortable beds...I could go on...a place to grill, a fire pit...Check-in and check-out was easy. “We loved this little apartment on the Mississippi. Private, quiet, comfortable with great views of the river. This was the perfect place for a relaxing get-a-way for my husband and me. Close proximity to downtown and plenty of room and cozy spaces if we just wanted to stay in. We enjoyed hiking at nearby Grandad’s Bluff and across the river at Great River Bluff State Park. “My son was in a bass fishing tournament on the river so it was a great location for us to be able to go watch the tournament and enjoy the restaurants and bars and shopping while he was out fishing. We also were able to comfortably watch the tournament on the tv during the day. ”
