Not only did I feel safe in a safer neighborhood in the city, it was convenient to popular attractions such as the Kobe Tough Bead Factory (literally 5 min walk), the Giraffe Centre, National Park and Elephant orphanage. “It seemed like this place just opened and was not ready for guests, but they did not have power when I arrived, which was a big let down after traveling from the US for over a day. They also didn't have internet for a while, until they got power back and after I asked. Not a bad place, maybe it'll get better with time. The food and service was good! ”

“Lovely and clean rustic place including room and common area. Love the detailing to the space, better ambience than in a hotel! We could easily park our car safely at the space outside near the garden within the house compound. Cosy and clean bedding, equipped with electric kettle, fridge and cooking place. Good WiFi, could shower comfortably in the bath. Highly recommended!”

“Great family, my son played with all the kids. Not a commercial hotel so felt very immersed with the Nairobi culture, breakfast was served with flexible times, Serah helped me with tourisy info and calling for uber. I would recommend to family and friends especially if they have kids. The room was cozy, towels provided, breakfast was great!”

“Rooms are as in the pictures. Little disappointed that there was no air conditioning. Was only given one towel. Food was terrible. Expensive and it took so long to get served in a rather mediocre venue for the price you pay. Also was served cold. Chips were soggy and overall experience with food was quite disappointing. I did like the room layout and big wooden doors but wasn’t a fan of the old locks but understand some folks may find that appealing. At the gate, the guard was quite pleasant and……

“It is a fraud. It doesn’t exist. We arrived to the place, we walked all the street along and we didn’t see any signs of the hotel. We called them and when they answered they said us that they would call back. Because they didn’t we called them once again after 30 minutes waiting at the street, they didn’t answer just sent us the sms that the reservation was cancelled at 18. in the day of the reservation. They are deceivers. ”
