“Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”

“Found this hotel, clean and very cosy. We paid for a room with a sea view and were not disappointed. Like so many comments before, it is very tired and in need of updating, but still found it extremely comfortable and warm, despite the time of year and how cold it was outside. Again, I think due to the time of year, the Menu for the evening meal was very limited. I had checked the menu advertised on the Hotels web page and what we were offered was nowhere near this. “Ett äldre mysigt litet hotell. Vi hade tur som fick ett rum på 3:e våningen för det finns ingen hiss. Litet rum men rent och mycket skön säng. Toppen med badkar som vi passade på att nyttja. Vi åt frukost sista morgonen och den var god och väl tilltagen, dock ganska dyr. Ägaren jätterar och charmig och serviceminded. Läget perfekt. Vi saknade fri Wi-Fi men ett ställe nära (LuLu) hade bra uppkoppling så en drink och lite surfing blev bra.”

“Had a lovely stay at Glengorn Guest House when visiting for the Royal Mòd. Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and tidy with an assortment of tea , coffee and some biscuits. I had opted for a room with shared bathroom which was spotless and close to the room. The accommodation is incredibly close to almost anything you could want and a short walk away from the train and bus stations. ”

“Arbour Guesthouse is a simple place but it's clean and it's a good value (considering that accomodations in Oban are a bit pricy). We regretted though that the "double bed" was only 120 cm and not properly advertised as sub-standard. It would be nice as well to have good curtains (blackout and down to the floor) as up north the sun rises very early in summer.”

“Highly recommended. The location/area is beautiful, very quiet, safe, very clean, a beautiful design, all brand new, very warm. A top class. The hostess Carol is amazing, very friendly, accommodating and extremely hospitable. Carol takes great care and attention to details to make a breakfast.”

“On a hill with a great view. Accommodations were excellent. A bit difficult to find for someone not familiar with the area and non-numbered house addresses. Just ask for directions from one of the neighbors you’ll likely find walking their dog and you’ll be fine. ”
