“Lovely historic building in a beautiful setting, unfortunately the lack of investment by the owner is evident with grounds that need attention, chipped paintwork, mismatched furnishings, dreadful piped music from the 1930's, a breakfast that was meagre and non functioning WiFi. So much potential!”
“What a find,this hotel is .it's nicely situated good car park ,clean bright and extremely comfortable .Terry and Lynne are wonderful hosts ,nothing is too much trouble for them ,and they are always friendly and helpful .we have stayed here three times before and would not consider staying anywhere else .”
“We booked this B&B pretty much last minute without checking the reviews but it wouldn't have put us off as everyone and their expectations are different. Our room was pretty big that a kingsize bed would have easily fit in. The bed was comfortable. After a few hours, we realised how thin the walls were as we could hear other guests in their rooms as though they were in ours with us. The B&B next door uses the breakfast facilities of the Caledonian so there was a lot of noise coming in from……
“Lovely spot to stop on our way to the ferry. Rooms were huge and really comfy and breakfast was amazing. Could do with a little attention to inroom facilities as coffee/sugar etc wasn’t topped up before arrival and TV remote didn’t work properly but didn’t spoil our stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend ”

Full breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. Hotel menu offers a good selection for day and evening dining.
